Understanding Hormone Therapy
Hormones are not Drugs.
Hormones are natural substances vital to your health, vitality and sexuality. As you age, your hormone production progressively decreases leading to and accelerating the aging process and the onset of age-related diseases.
Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy, also called Bio-identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT) restores your body to its youthful levels of hormones. The doctor-prescribed doses of Natural Hormones never exceed what your body has already been accustomed to in its younger years so your body isn’t wrestling with new chemicals, but rather enjoying the benefits of the hormones that made it so vital and energetic when you were younger.
What Are Hormones?
Telomerase is a naturally-occurring enzyme in the body and a vital factor in cell health. It helps maintain the protective telomeres. Scientific studies have shown that controlled activation of telomerase in normal cells can increase telomere length, improve functional capacity, and promote the just lifespan of cells.
A telomerase activator adds back base pairs of telomeric DNA that have been lost in the aging process. This lengthening of telomeres protects chromosomes from damage, essentially protecting the cells where telomerase is activated from age-related decline.

How is Hormone Therapy Administered?
In these types of age therapy type applications, there are two primary ways in which hormone therapy will be given to the client.
- Oral Medications – some hormones can be taken orally in pill form. If possible, we like to go this route. Completely non-invasive and gives us the great results that we expect.
- Injection – Some hormones are given as injections under the skin or into the muscle, depending on the area being treated and the hormone being used.
We never want our clients to forget that counteracting aging requires most to change some details about their lives. Living your best life as you age is all about staying active, healthy, and just doing the things that you love.
